Why Auction

Simply put, the auction method of marketing is the fastest and most efficient way to get the true market value of your property. What makes auctions so great, is they create a strong sense of urgency and immediacy.

There are two primary types of auctions that you may hear about

  • Absolute Auction – Absolute auctions sell at the highest bid, whatever that bid may be, without being subject to a reserve or minimum price. The potential advantage of an absolute auction is that it can draw a substantially larger pool of potential bidders.
  • With Reserve – Auctions, by default, are subject to reserve. Auctions that are subject to reserve may not draw the same level of interest as an absolute auction.

The appropriate type of auction depends on a number of factors and your Gray Estates’ auction professional can help advise you on the best way to take your property to market.

“I don’t see how Ken could have made the process any easier. We are very satisfied and have highly recommended him to our friends.”

One year ago today you handed me the keys to my very own home!  It’s been one heck of a year.  It’s amazing that my kids have a forever home.  We have made great memories in the past year and can’t wait for everything to come in the future.  Thank you so much again for all of your help in achieving this for my family!

“I chose Ken Gray to list and sell one of our corporate properties. Gave him 1 week to sell. Text him at end of week to see where my check was, he indicated he was still busy working on getting it sold.  End of week 2 Ken calls to let me know multiple offers may be on the way.  Within few more days property sold.  Yes it took twice as long a time as we gave him, but I think we will keep using this guy.”

“In a world of declining customer service this company and its family run atmosphere shines like no other.”
